The UNSW Book Fair has been held since 1968 and is organised
by members of the U Committee, a group of volunteers who raise
money for projects within the university for which there is no
alternate source of funding. Since 2000 the Book Fair has become
an annual event. The members meet weekly to sort, price and pack
the books which are donated by schools, organisations and private
individuals.
The Book Fair is held in April.

A typically busy day at the bookroom!
Sydneysiders and those in the know from all over Australia visit
the UNSW Book Fair every year. Our long standing customers know
that they will have a chance to buy the books, magazines and records
they have been searching for years at very reasonable prices.

Thousands and thousands of books!
This is one of Sydney's biggest bookfairs. Here is your chance
to find out-of-print books. The bulk of books are priced very
low. We have books for everyone not just for students. We have
children's fiction ranging from from very young to young adults
as well as primary and high school texts. Our books for adults
cover every topic from academic text books through fiction , biography,
travel, religion, music and hobbies. Certain sections have fewer
books, so come early if you are looking for Philosophy, Ancient
History, the Occult, Ancient Greek, and Latin.
There are huge number of magazines of all kinds, women's and
men's fashion, entertaining, lifestyle, sport, hobbies, computers,
current affairs and comics. Our selection would match any newsagent.

So many books, so little time ...
Now is your chance to find those records you rashly gave away
years ago. Come and browse through our collection of country,
jazz, rock, pop records and cassettes as well as CD's and classic
vinyls.
We have a specially selected "Collectables" section with books
ranging in price between $4 and $30. Books that in previous years have been sold by auction are now on sale in the "Collectables" section.
